Our allied health team work together to provide holistic healthcare services throughout rural, regional and remote Queensland. From Exercise Physiology through to Occupational Therapy we tailor our services to meet your goals.
Home And Community Supports
We provide a range of aged care and disability services throughout rural, regional and remote Queensland including domestic assistance, individual and group social support, transport, and allied health. Our compassionate team aim to improve your quality of life and help you maintain your independence.
Mental Health And Wellbeing
Caring for your mental wellbeing is just as important as other areas of health. That’s why our team of psychologists and mental health professionals offer confidential counselling throughout rural, regional and remote Queensland.
Carer Support
Through the Carer Gateway program, we provide a range of free services and support just for carers. Services are delivered in-person, online and over the phone and include counselling, coaching, peer support, respite care and financial support.
Health in Your Community
At NWRH, we provide allied health, home and community supports, mental health and wellbeing, carer support and headspace services throughout rural, regional and remote Queensland. Our goal is to assist in improving the physical, social and emotional wellbeing of the clients we work with.
Our team aim to make sure you, your loved ones and your carers receive the help you need. Whether you’re struggling with daily tasks or just need a little extra assistance, the right healthcare could improve your quality of life. We are a multidisciplinary organisation and can arrange local, professional care to suit your needs, from support workers to community care drivers, physiotherapists, speech pathologists, mental health workers and more.
We serve over 50 communities across remote, rural and regional areas of Australia, including Townsville, Mount Isa, Longreach, Normanton, Doomadgee, Cloncurry, Cairns, Mackay and Mornington Island.

NWRH is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our clients and their families. We believe that everyone has the right to access quality healthcare, no matter where they live. Our team works tirelessly to provide the best possible care to our clients, and we are proud to be able to make a difference in some of the most remote and vulnerable communities in Queensland.
We are a not-for-profit organisation and are contracted with the Commonwealth and State Government. This means our clients can access services through NDIS, My Aged Care, MyndKind, Carer Gateway and other programs. You may be able to secure reduced-cost assistance, get a referral through your GP, or even self-refer. To find out more, get in touch on 1800 799 244.
