Take on the challenge of North Queensland!
Journey with us through some of Australia’s most beautiful landscapes including tropical rainforest, windy coastal roads and picture-perfect beaches as we follow the Great Barrier Reef.
Tour de Cure’s iconic Signature Tour is a challenge like no other – eight days of riding, cycling on more than 1000kms of North Queensland roads-less-travelled, between bucket list stops.
Signature Tour is now open for riders looking for more than just the next hill; a deep aspiration to make a difference in the cancer space: Curing Cancer and Changing Lives.
Join us on a life-changing tour in May 2025.
New to Tour de Cure rider registration closure date: Thursday 6 February.
Experienced rider registration closure date: Thursday 20 February.
Tour de Cure is a cancer-agnostic organisation, and funds raised will support cancer research, support and prevention projects. The fundraising goal for Signature Tour 2025 is $2 million.
We put people first at Tour de Cure; they are at the core of our mission to make a difference passionately and ambitiously.
The team we recruit to take on Signature Tour is highly motivated to train and be challenged by the days on Tour, knowing that not everyone can make their contribution in this way.
Along the route we will learn more about how we can contribute to others, visiting local communities, meeting ambassadors for regional cancer charities and talking to school children about healthy and happy lives.
Tour de Cure will support you through your training and fundraising to help you meet your goals and will introduce you to a community who are committed to doing the same.
In 2025, we will welcome multiple pelotons riding from Airlie Beach to Port Douglas, with one peloton riding a 3-day tour (Tour Experience) from Mission Beach to Port Douglas.
Our peloton groups will cater for different rider levels, covering various distances and altitudes to suit a range of capabilities – all supported by our caring, experienced ride leaders and event team throughout the entire tour.
Our “Challenge” peloton will appeal to riders who are experienced road cyclists and seek more intense, back-to-back days of longer rides, testing their mental and physical fitness in an unparalleled ride challenge in Australia.
