Delivered with a raw croon, he blends dirty blues and swamp boogie that pumps with rockabilly grit, forging a full-band sound uniquely his own. Chugging out tunes from an impressive arsenal of originals, his infectious hooks and riffage finesse beckon to the dancefloor, making fast fans and friends of music lovers all over the country. One of Australia’s exciting next generation artists, Charlie Bedford began playing in bars & clubs at the age of 12 & is now a regular, touring the Australian pub, club & festival scene. Performing in the USA multiple times in Memphis, Nashville & Muscle Shoals, Charlie has played alongside band members from many great acts, including BB King, Ray Charles & Wilson Pickett.
