About

In the hills, five kilometres from Korumburra, is the Gooseneck Pottery. Owned and run by Robert Barron, this unique pottery produces an extensive range of hand thrown, wood-fired stoneware. The Gooseneck kiln is one of the largest wood-fired kilns in Australia. Measuring 14 metres in length and three metres in height and width. It is fired over a four day period twice a year. Visitors are welcome to inspect the workshop and kiln where pots in various stages of production can be viewed. Pots made include jugs, teapots, mugs, bowls, baking dishes, casseroles etc., and larger items such as platters, breadcrocks and jars. Also produced are water features and a wide range of planters, from small herb pots to big tubs. Open Saturday and Sunday through till Christmas.
