THE CLEANER A landscape in its purest form reveals its true nature Richard Klekociuk - solo exhibition This exhibition showcases some of Richard's most recent landscape pencil artworks. Most have not been seen before and yet many will feel familiar as Richard has a talent for invoking the feeling, and highlighting the simplicity of the Tasmanian landscape. This will be demonstrated as beautifully as ever in his exhibition - The Cleaner. PUBLIC OPENING EVENT: Meet the Artist - Richard Sunday 2 March Arrive at 2pm for a 2.30pm start Scones & light refreshments provided Originally from Hobart, Australian artist Richard Klekociuk graduated from the Tasmanian School of Art in 1971, and is now based in Launceston, Tasmania. He's been a practicing artist, teacher and art judge for more than 50 years. Coloured pencil drawing is his preferred medium and he has gained Master Pencil Status from both Australia and Canada Coloured Pencil Societies. He has won over 60 awards, often in open company both in Australia and overseas. Richard has been a Glover finalist twice and a finalist in the Bay of Fires Art Prize on 4 occasions.
