Access My Community is a landmark project for disabled people in Queensland and Australia.

Proudly supported by Brisbane City Council, this project was developed in conjunction with clients, parents and staff of Westside Community Services, as well as feedback from a number of Disability, Sport, Education, Health and Employment agencies across Queensland.

By combining information from the Brisbane Community Directory with other "Open" Information sources, we have created a powerful mapping tool that is aimed at giving individuals who have difficulty reading, writing, typing or using a computer the ability to find local services and activities that interest them either independently or with minimal outside assistance.

Access to information is critical to people making good decisions about what help they can receive and importantly, how they can get more involved in their local community. With Access My Community, it is now easier than ever to find the services and activities that people need, close to home.
