About

The Drovers' Camp Festival is a unique outback flavoured festival. Come to yarn with the old drovers and hear their amazing stories, enjoy country music from some of Australia's best artists, and enjoy good ol' outback hospitality. A fun-filled weekend. Friday opens with a lively march pass including humorous floats, musicians and horses, culminating in a fun-filled, lively night full of entertainment. The march past will be followed by the Ringers Challenge where the winner and runner up prize money is shared between team members and your chosen charity. To top this weekend off, enjoy yarning with an old drover, Bronco Branding, music, poetry, camp oven cooking demonstrations. During the weekend wander through the Droving Heritage Centre and enjoy the top class photographic competition and displays. Be entertained at the Drover's Campsite. Bush camping is available. The Drover's Camp is one kilometre east of the township of Camooweal, turn left at the cemetery road, then left again. Please book your accommodation early to avoid disappointment. Entry Cost Adult $15 - Limited Bush Camping is available for $20 per night for those fully self sufficient. Bookings must be made prior to festival. Children under 15 free. Adult $70 - Weekend pass is Saturday, Sunday and includes concert Saturday night. Adult $15 - Saturday and Sunday $15 per day. Saturday and Concert $60.
