Rope Making

The Master Ropemaker will tell you all about making rope using the centuries old method. They have a 110 year old hand operated machine set up so that all visitors are able to make their own souvenir piece of rope to take home. Display items related to knots and rope including 2 of the original "Endeavour" replica standing rigging ropes. Rope souvenirs available at the Reception Shop, hand made by volunteers.
