Riverina Comedy Club presents: Peter Helliar MC: Dane Simpson Pete Helliar is a muti-hyphenate performer, who is firmly in the business of being funny- and makes it look dead easy! Pete has performed in festivals, theatres, and comedy rooms Australia wide and is a regular fan favourite on the small screen – appearing in season three of Taskmaster Australia and as a competitor on The Amazing Race Australia. This follows appearances on Spicks and Specks, Thank God You’re Here, Guy Montgomery’s Guy Mont Spelling Bee and Have You Been Paying Attention? A bit about Riverina Comedy Club: Riverina Comedy Club is Wagga’s only Comedy Club. Over the past 10 years, Wagga’s own Dane Simpson has created a buzzing comedy scene in the region which has brought comedians to town such as Tom Gleeson, Rove McManus, Randy Feltface and Claire Hooper (just to name a few.) As well as playing host to these headliners, Dane also focusses on coaching and fostering local talent with a diverse range of local and regional comedians who feature at every performance.
