Fernleigh 15 Lake Macquarie

A recreational running event for serious or novice runners, walkers or wheelchair participants staged on the Fernleigh Track from Adamstown in Newcastle to Belmont in Lake Macquarie. The Fernleigh Track was formerly a train line and has been reactivated for runners, walkers and cyclists over a 15-kilometre track that traverses the lush backyards and forest environment of Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. Run the lot or get a team together to take on two to four-kilometre sections. The event is a celebration of healthy lifestyles and community.
