Coota Beach Volleyball

Coota Beach Volleyball Carnival will be in its 23rd year and will be a 10-court, 168-team, three-day Beach Volleyball event played 390 kilometres from the nearest beach. Every year, Murray Street transforms from a tree-lined street to a bustling sandy 'beach'. Trucks cart 900 tonnes of sand in, courts are mapped out, and the games begin. Teams arrive in Coota, dressed to impress from movie characters to superheroes, the competition draws a diverse crowd. Don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind sporting event in the Riverina. The 2025 event has been proudly organised by a dedicated team from Adina Court Cootamundra and volunteers from the community and is proudly sponsored by Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council.
