About
Down Under: The Songs That Shaped Australia (formerly known as Mixtape Australia) is a multi-award-winning, live music celebration of the Aussie hit-makers who spurred historic change with their iconic anthems.
Australian music is vast and varied; it captures the beauty and brutality of the land with storytelling at the forefront. Featuring classics from Midnight Oil, Cold Chisel, Paul Kelly, The Divinyls, ACDC, Tina Arena, and more, reminisce on the artists whose guts and determination shaped Australia's musical history. With the powerhouse vocals of acclaimed songstress Michelle Pearson and her incredible five-piece band, this nostalgic homecoming will have you on your feet!
Winner of the 2024 Fringe World Award for Music and Musicals. Winner of the 2024 House of Oz Purse Prize.
