About
NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia each July to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC is celebrated not only in Indigenous communities, but by Australians from all walks of life.
The week is a great opportunity to participate in a range of activities and to support our local Aboriginal community here on Gumbaynggirr Country.
The Official Flag Raising Ceremony launches the week of events in Coffs Harbour and will feature a performance by Wajaar Ngaarlu and the Kulai Preschool. This will be followed by Morning Tea in the Norm Jordan Function Rooms at the Showground, 123 Pacific Highway, Coffs Harbour 2450.
